spring break

spring break mainly consisted of three things... doing work for my 2 midterms thursday, snowboarding, and the beach. I think its great that i am able to go to snowboarding and to the beach all in the same week... thats southern california for you. good stuff...

So there are about 4 or so weeks left in school. Thats good and bad at the same time. Good because school is almost out. Bad because that means finals are coming up and that means lots of stress and lack of sleep. Lets go back to think of a few posts ago about the verse i had to memorize... lets take that.. and have it every night for about a week straight. Fun stuff.. maybe... anyway.. here are some pics from the beach...

gourmet water?

So a few days ago I came across a gourmet water web site. Yes I said it... gourmet water. Who knows why we have gourmet water because for me, water is water...it all comes from the same place. But really.. gourmet water? On this particular site you can find a case of 12 bottles for amazing prices ranging from $22.00 to $441.00... no that was not a type-o... $441.00 for a case of 12 bottles of "gourmet" water! Which comes out to around $36 per bottle. This certain bottle is called "bling h20."Who knows... maybe drinking this water makes you rich and famous...maybe its the secret behind celebrities. Maybe it give you super powers.. like shooting Swedish Fish from your finger tips! Either way, who ever buys this water need to do something constructive with their money... like put more money into CBU's graphic design program....or build the world biggest sand castle... either way. This is what i have to memorize by heart by tomorrow morning for Global Studies. Its not that long i know but compared to what we normally have to memorize (in a northern califorina term) "its hecka long."And on top of that I'm horrible at memorizing things word for word. Ive had a few days to start my memorizing... but it kinda overwhelmed me a bit so being myself, i started the night before it was due. I have some of it memorized... but not nearly enough.. and instead of studying more, im writing about it on my blog. Im a good worker yeah? no.. didn't think so..And yes, the picture is me currently.. Im pretty sure i have ADD when it comes to homework... because i can get distracted by a lot of things.. I got all ready to start studying it.. then i decided i wanted to look up "pen twirling" on youtube.. so I did.. and more time was wasted. Now im writting a blog about my unproductiveness... which makes me that much more unproductive. On a positive note i have about 3 more blog entries that i want to write out so i have lots of new information to blog about... so you people(or person) should be excited.. its interesting stuff.. ok no more of this... studying time now..

awkward situations for certain people

I saw this sign up and found it to be quite amusing. My friend took a picture of it and i did too. Its a good thing the sign was hanging up. Imagine the day the custodian forgets to put that up when he is working on a womens restroom. Without it awkward situations would arise. Or, even better if someone where to go take the sign down without him knowing... as a joke. I of course, do not condone any sort of deviant acts such as this. So.. enjoy the picture..

Forest Home Photography

So I have been hired as the photography/graphic design intern at Forest Home Ministries. I went up there yesterday morning to talk with the guy who helps lead that department and we pretty much went around the camp took a bunch of pictures, ate interesting camp food, and talked with people. So this means that 11 weeks of my summer will be spent living up at forest home taking pictures of all the people who are visiting the camp and doing some graphic design/print shop work. I am not getting paid a whole lot but it doesn't really matter since i get free room and board and since the whole 11 weeks is going to build my portfolio extensively and look good on my resume. I'm really excited for this summer.. i cant wait for it to start.
